Predator(1987) - Pretty hokey, a little overrated, not much plot, more or less pointless
All the Back to the Future movies - Very good, but it’s been awhile since I’ve seen them all, but excellent as far as I can remember
Dark Knight(2008) - Wonderful film, great writing, well shot, goes on a bit but it’s worth it
The Frighteners(1996) - Haven’t seen
Godzilla(1998) - Overblown American trash
Herbie goes to monte carlo(1977) - Haven’t seen
Kill Bill:Vol 1(2003) - Alright, but pretty vacuous, falls apart in Vol. 2
Liar Liar(1997) - Haven’t seen
Lady in the Water(2006) - Absolute tripe, totally self-indulgent from director M. Night Shyamalan, to be avoided
Mars Attacks!(1996) - Very funny, but again it’s been awhile so my opinion might have changed
Nick of Time(1995) - Haven’t seen
The Siege(1998) - Haven’t seen
Speed(1994) - Good fun for a stupid film that isn’t supposed to be deep or meaningful
Starship Troopers(1997) - Haven’t seen
Truman Show(1998) - Really really good, I love the references to philosophy, it’s a touching story and it’s really more than just entertainment
Terminator 2(1991) - Fantastic, in a word. Better than the first, special effects still look great to this day, and it’s just iconic.
Twister(1996) - Like Speed, a bit silly, but quite good fun
War of the Worlds(2005) - Actually better than the critics said. Steven Spielberg doing what he does best, it’s a bit sentimental and a bit overblown but it works for what it is
